Does the expense tracker connect to my bank account?
No. Entries are recorded manually by you. The tool never asks for bank credentials, never reads SMS or email, and never imports transactions automatically.
Is my data stored anywhere?
Your entries stay in this browser session while you work. They are stored to your nilo account only when you sign in and choose Save.
Can I export my entries?
Yes — you can export your recorded entries as a CSV file or print a monthly summary at any time, without an account.
How is the savings rate calculated?
Savings rate = (total income − total expenses) ÷ total income × 100, for the selected month. If no income has been recorded, the rate is shown as not yet available rather than a misleading number.
