Frequently asked questions
What does financial independence mean here?
It is the point where your invested assets may be able to cover your ongoing expenses, based on the growth, inflation and expense assumptions you enter. It is an educational estimate, not a guarantee.
How is the target corpus estimated?
The tool simulates your post-independence expenses year by year, adjusting for inflation and expected income, and estimates the corpus needed to sustain them over a long horizon. It does not assume a single universal withdrawal rate.
Why does a small delay change the result so much?
Early contributions compound for the longest time. Pausing or delaying reduces the years of compounding, which is why the projected independence age can shift by more than the delay itself.
