Careers at nilo
Build the confidence that shapes a lifetime.
At nilo, we are building more than a financial literacy platform.
We are helping children, families, and schools develop the confidence to make wiser decisions with money before pressure, misinformation, debt, scams, and fear begin shaping those choices.
Our work sits at the intersection of education, storytelling, technology, design, and real-life financial behaviour.
This is an opportunity to help build something that can genuinely change how the next generation grows up with money.
Why nilo?
Children deserve to meet money before pressure does.
Most people are introduced to money only after they begin earning, borrowing, spending under pressure, or making mistakes.
We believe that is too late.
Children deserve to learn how money works in the real world: how to think before spending, save with purpose, recognise risk, talk about money calmly, and make decisions with responsibility.
We are creating practical, age-appropriate learning experiences for students, supported by parents and trusted by schools.
That means every product decision, lesson, story, illustration, activity, and school partnership has the potential to influence a child's future.
What it feels like to work here
Ownership, craft, and real-world usefulness.
Meaningful work, not empty engagement
We are not building features just to increase screen time. We are building experiences that help young people become more thoughtful, capable, and confident.
High ownership
You will have room to think independently, take responsibility, challenge assumptions, and shape the way nilo grows.
Craft matters
Whether you work in curriculum, product, design, engineering, storytelling, sales, or operations, details matter here. We care about clarity, trust, quality, and usefulness.
Learn in public, improve quickly
We value people who are curious, honest about what is not working, and willing to make the next version better.
Build for real families and schools
Our work must make sense in real classrooms, real homes, and real student lives, not only inside a presentation deck.
Who thrives at nilo
People who can make complex ideas feel simple and responsible.
We are looking for people who are:
- Curious about how children learn and make decisions
- Comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage environment
- Clear thinkers who can turn complex ideas into simple experiences
- Thoughtful communicators with strong empathy
- Serious about quality, trust, and long-term impact
- Excited by education, financial wellbeing, storytelling, technology, or design
- Willing to build from the ground up
You do not need to know everything about finance or education on day one.

A note for future teammates
nilo is still being built.
That means the right people will not only join a company. They will help shape its culture, product, learning philosophy, and impact from the beginning.
There will be ambiguity. There will be hard problems. There will be moments when we need to rethink, simplify, and start again.
But there will also be a rare chance to build something meaningful for millions of children and families.
